What is wholesale pricing?

Wholesale pricing is a B2B feature that offers discounted prices to registered wholesale customers who purchase in bulk. Prices are tiered based on quantity — the more you order, the lower the price per unit.

How do I become a wholesale customer?

You can apply for a wholesale account by visiting the wholesale registration page and submitting your business details. Once approved by an admin, you will be assigned to a customer group with access to wholesale pricing.

What is a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ is the smallest quantity of a product you can order. Some products require a minimum order of 10, 25, or more units. Quantity increments may also apply — for example, you may need to order in multiples of 5.

How are wholesale discounts calculated?

Discounts are based on your customer group and the quantity ordered. There are three discount types: percentage off (e.g., 10% off), fixed amount off (e.g., $5 off per unit), or a fixed wholesale price. The best discount is automatically applied.

Can I see wholesale prices before registering?

By default, wholesale prices are only visible to approved wholesale customers. However, the store may enable guest access which shows prices using a default customer group. Contact the store for more information.

Does wholesale pricing work with marketplace / multivendor stores?

Yes. The wholesale plugin is fully compatible with the Botble Marketplace plugin. Sellers can configure their own wholesale pricing rules, tiered pricing, and minimum order quantity (MOQ) settings for their products directly from the vendor dashboard. When a seller has not set up wholesale pricing, the admin-defined global rules are used as fallbacks.

Where can I see my wholesale discount in the cart?

When your cart quantity matches a wholesale pricing tier, a discount badge is displayed on the cart page, mini-cart panel, checkout page, and order summary after purchase. The badge shows the discount applied (e.g., "Wholesale: 10% OFF") so you always know how much you are saving. Admin can also see wholesale discount info on order detail pages.
